I came across this really quirky and fun keyboard sticker design by Christopher Monro DeLorenzo. His thought is that as children learn the alphabet by associating it with objects relating to the letter, technology should adapt so that younger children can make the most of computers too.
I think it's a really interesting idea and has been executed very well. The illusration style used is bold and playful. It relates to the target market and is an eye-catching product.

Chiho Aoshima
I have spent aaages trying to remember the n ame of an artist whose exhibition i had seen years ago, when I stumbled across the work again on the baltic website. Chiho Aoshimas work is so outstanding. Her work is all based on fantasy; the characters, cities and landscapes are from another world and I think the way she create s makes each aspect stand out on it's own and work with everything else in the design works amazingly well. She is known as a pop artist, and as well as her illustration work, she has also experimented with sculpture and animation. Her pieces are mostly large scale, covering all the wall space in the area she is exhibiting in. Looking at these images it's easy for me to see that they don't do her work justice, when looking at Chihos work up close you can see every little detail and the colours are so bold and bright that your eye is immediately drawn to her pieces.
"My work feels like strands of my thoughts that have flown around the universe before coming back to materialise."

Molton Brown

I saw the Molton Brown collections when out shopping the other day, and all of the packaging is just beautiful. The use if colour is really outstanding, and the tones compliment each other amazing. I love the serif typeface that gives the products a really traditional but luxurious feel to them, and I think the overall design is eye-catching and really fits it's purpose well.

Democracy
I had to create a visual response to the subject.
I picked a quote by Abraham Lincoln to base my piece around.
This is my finished piece, I chose to create my design emulate a tattoo as it is a style of illustration I am interested in. I am quite happy with the finished result, although I think I could have altered the colours slightly, and maybe add some detail on the actual gun, however my time was limited.
